Director of Instruction
Justin Babcock, PGA

Justin has been a golf instructor for over 10 years and has taught over 10,000 lessons. He believes there is no ‘right’ way to swing a golf club and that it is important to find a swing based on the students goals and body capabilities. 

 

Justin was born in Orange, TX, he played multiple sports growing up but fell in love with golf his junior year of high school. He shot 136 in his first high school tournament his and by the end of his senior year he was breaking 80 on a regular basis. He went to Sam Houston State University and graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration with a specialization in PGA Golf Management. He has been a full time instructor since 2014 and loves to share his passion for the game to anyone that has the desire to improve.

 

He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Amy since 2015. They have two sons, Bear and Bodie, and two dogs that keeps them plenty busy!

Brooks Muse, PGA

Born and raised in southeastern Virginia, Brooks discovered his passion for golf at a young age. He excelled at Junior and High School golf before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps upon graduating from high school.  Stationed in Southern California he continued to develop his passion for the game of golf while deploying all over the world.   

After completing his enlistment, Brooks was accepted into the PGA Professional Golf Management program at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX.  While completing multiple internships throughout Texas, Brooks continued to hone his passion for teaching golf.  

Gaining his Class A PGA membership in 2014, Brooks began teaching at Luna Vista Golf Course in Dallas, TX.  As an active member of the Northern Texas PGA, Brooks has been involved in multiple Veteran and Junior programs. 

Dedicated to improving his students’ game, Brooks enjoys enhancing his knowledge by attending PGA Teaching & Coaching seminars around the country.  During his down time Brooks enjoys spending time with his family and being in the great outdoors.  

Amanda Waddell

Amanda grew up in Brenham, TX. Her father played regularly and her earliest memories of golf are driving the cart while he and her mother played. She participated in junior clinics and camp at country clubs they belonged to through the years and through a few moves. She played softball and basketball but spring of her Freshman year at Keller High School, she joined the golf team. She lettered 4 years at Keller and continued her playing career with the Texas A&M University Women’s Golf Team. She began teaching junior camps with her coach and majored in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Management. She continued teaching while entering the golf profession as an intern at the Woodlands, Palmer Course, her last semester at A&M. Upon graduation she went to work at The Vaquero Club and then took a position as Assistant Golf Professional at Dallas Country Club. She returned to Vaquero as an Assistant Pro and then took the Director of Instruction position at Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club in Keller. Amanda remained the DOI for 8 years before taking a break for family. She earned her teaching certificate during that time and began teaching in Northwest ISD. She had the opportunity to become the Assistant Golf Coach for the Northwest High School team where she has spent the last 2 years.
